The process of learning Chinese language requires perfection of four channels namely listening, speaking, reading and writing. The first two aspects are based on the sound system and the later on the syntax of the language. The sound system and syntax of Chinese language are entirely different from English language. The Chinese language contains 37 phonetic symbols which have 21 starting elements. Sixteen final elements along with four tones form the complete sound system. Each of the character carries a single syllable and single sound with a single idea. So others have to put some hard and systematic work to learn Chinese language.
